I will be attending DIS in Copenhagen, Denmark just a hop and a skip away from Sweden. So I simply must wrangle at least a day trip while I am in the area. It should be a marvelous opportunity to get a glimpse of another Scandinavian culture and one I have a genetic link to at that.
Alas, due to the abrupt halving of my time abroad I never got that day trip to Sweden. I spent about eight hours on a train from Oslo to Copenhagen most of which was in Sweden. As such my experience with Sweden was limited to a lovely view of the countryside from the train and a brief outing through a single train station where I bought my next train ticket and a subway sandwich.
